Sara Yazdi is an ESG Analyst at TDi Sustainability, primarily working in research and report writing. She has previously worked as a Primary Analyst at the Sustainable Markets Initiative with a focus on the Power of Consumers. At this role she explored the consumer journey, greenwashing and eco-labelling and the fast fashion industry. She also wrote ad-hoc pieces of research on CHOGM 2018 and expectations for 2022, the nuclear fusion landscape and global sustainable innovations. Sara also has professional working experience in the Middle East, where she worked for a business consultancy and led the research on COVID-19, mining, automotive, OGP industries and the environment.

Sara holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from Kingston University, with a dissertation on the effects of social media on protest, and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics and Politics (LSE), with a dissertation on the role of women in environmental decision-making in the United Kingdom’s public transport sector. She is fluent in English and Farsi and proficient in French. She is currently based in the United Kingdom.
