Working with Equitable Origin to develop a certification programme for energy projects

TDi provided comprehensive support to Equitable Origin (EO) in the standard-setting, governance structure establishment, and technology implementation. The partnership has resulted in the development of a credible certification programme for energy projects and efficient programme management.

Standard development and certification programme management:

  • Ongoing program support through due diligence, research on ESG issues, and communication strategy and content development.
  • Co-designing the FPIC-360° Tool to support meaningful engagement of Indigenous communities in project planning and development.

Workflow improvements:

  • Utilising reports from TDi’s Search-360 digital tool to manage reputational risks and identify specific ESG issues for further investigation during site assessments.
  • Streamlining administrative tasks and making the certification process more transparent.

Their expertise has been instrumental—from helping us shape our inaugural energy certification to advancing the development of sector-specific Standard Supplements for Wind and Solar.
