Development of a forced labour toolkit for an electronics company
TDi was tasked by a major electronics manufacturer to develop a toolkit to identify forced labour hotspots and high risk business activities in its supply chain.
TDi’s response
- Aware that modern forms of forced labour extend beyond the 11 key ILO indicators TDi devised a longer list of indicators.
- These indicators were then developed into a digital toolkit that could be interrogated by the client with accompanying guidance on how to identify actual, likely or possible situations of forced labour
