In response to growing scrutiny and pressure from international investors and stakeholders, a leading mining company operating in Indonesia tasked TDi Sustainability with producing its pilot sustainability report.

TDi’s report provided an overview of the company’s significance around sustainability as the largest mining site in Indonesia and one of the largest extractive copper sites globally.
Stakeholder Transparency:
The report analysis highlighted the increasing demand from investors, NGOs, and other actors for the mining company to be transparent about performance by publishing a sustainability report and addressing the pressure from stakeholders, particularly investors, for greater transparency regarding its sustainability and management practices, with specific emphasis on tailings management.
