Channan Sangha

ESG Analyst

Channan is an ESG Analyst at TDi Sustainability, based in the UK. With an interdisciplinary background and experience spanning sustainability consulting, policy, research, and advocacy, she brings analytical rigour and creative thinking to complex sustainability challenges.

Channan’s work in sustainability spans ESG reporting tool development, regulatory analysis under the EU Green Deal, and climate repair research for a Cambridge University-affiliated think tank. She has also benchmarked voluntary sustainability standards and collaborated with NGOs to craft policy advocacy narratives that align circularity with the EU’s geopolitical independence and resource security priorities. Deeply committed to a just and equitable transition, Channan has a strong interest in critical minerals and other strategic raw materials.

Channan holds a BA in History and Politics from the University of Cambridge and recently completed an MSc in Environmental Management and Policy at Lund University, where her research focused on FPIC and Indigenous Rights protections in voluntary standards governing the mining of critical minerals for the energy transition. Outside of work, Channan enjoys playing tennis, cooking different cuisines, and catching new shows in the West End.
