James Buckwell

James is a Sustainability Consultant at TDi Sustainability, based in Hampshire in the UK.

James brings a unique technical and commercial background in sustainable manufacturing solutions – with experience both in-house and as a consultant. He has a particular focus on standards, reporting and stakeholder engagement across the automotive, construction and aviation industries. Originally graduating in Chemical Engineering (MEng) from the University of Birmingham, James spent several years developing the recycled carbon fibre market and providing technical support across Asia, the Middle East and the US for a leading recycled carbon fibre manufacturer.

Following this, he progressed to sustainability consulting, where he has led and developed novel circular economy solutions in the oil and gas sector and delivered company-wide sustainability strategies for large automotive OEMs and Tier 1s.
