Abhipsha Mahapatro

In her last role at SLR Consulting (previously RCS Global), she managed complex audit programs for some of the leading names in the automotive industry and was responsible for mapping their supply chains end-to-end and tracing materials from battery to mine. She has worked very closely with mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo and artisanal and small-scale mines in Madagascar as part of these projects and supported them on corrective action plans for building their due diligence management systems.

Prior to that, she worked in international development with GIZ, building climate resilience for vulnerable communities in India by employing various social behaviour change models alongside a nutrition-initiative to fight malnutrition in the region. She has also worked with an NGO and as a journalist – all the while covering topics on climate change and adaptation.

Abhipsha holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin, and a Bachelors in Media Studies from Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication, India.
