TDi is looking for an experienced, creative and detail-oriented freelance marketing professional to start as soon as possible, delivering around 50 days of support between now and April 2027. You will plan, build, run and report on a range of campaigns day to day, with LinkedIn paid advertising as your core specialism.

About the role
TDi Sustainability (TDi) is an advisory firm with an agenda: we aim to show that businesses from production to retail, site to shelf, mine to main street – can create long-term value and make a positive difference in people’s lives. TDi combines business consulting expertise, technical knowledge, value chain focus and our sustainability mission to solve complex problems and deliver durable results for our clients.
Key responsibilities
This role includes:
- Planning, advising on, setting up, running and optimising LinkedIn paid advertising campaigns (Campaign Manager, audience targeting, A/B testing, budget management and performance reporting) against an agreed budget
- Supporting LinkedIn organic activity and outreach alongside paid activity
- Creating and running email campaigns: building, segmenting, sending and reporting
- Updating and maintaining website pages using WordPress
- Producing campaign assets including social graphics, ad creatives and simple infographics, working to TDi brand guidelines
- Developing and running campaign plans from end to end: including timelines, handovers with the marketing, sales and development teams, and clear weekly updates to the Head of Marketing
- Tracking results against campaign targets and recommending changes based on the data
This is a hands-on role. We are not looking for a designer, but we do need someone with an ‘eye’ for design who enjoys being creative. We are a small team and work remotely. You will need to be happy working autonomously, managing your own time and priorities, coming up with ideas, taking the initiative, and getting on with it without needing close direction.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and knowledge
- Proven expertise in LinkedIn paid advertising including B2B targeting, ad formats, audience targeting, budget optimisation and conversion tracking
- Broad B2B marketing experience across channels, able to turn a strategy into a running campaign
- An eye for design; experience using Canva (or similar) and applying brand guidelines
- Experience updating websites through a CMS (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience creating, segmenting and running email campaigns in email marketing software, and reporting on results
- Strong project management skills: planning, prioritising, managing dependencies and delivering to deadlines
- Self-starter, comfortable with autonomy
- Excellent writing skills and English-language proficiency
- Able to work remotely and to manage your own time and equipment
- Some understanding of, or experience in, responsible sourcing, ESG and supply chain due diligence
What we can offer you:
- A freelance engagement of approximately 50 days over six months (October 2026 – April 2027)
- A chance to lead the marketing of a new project launch and work with an experienced team in supply chain risk management, responsible sourcing and impact investing
- Fully remote working and flexible hours, in return for a commitment to high-quality deliverables and consistently meeting deadlines
Unfortunately, we cannot support work visa applications, so you must have permission to work in the country where you intend to work when you apply. This is a freelance engagement and not an employment contract.
How to apply:
If you are interested in being considered for this role, please send your CV and current day rate to [email protected] along with an example (or examples) of LinkedIn paid campaigns you have run. All applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis until the position has been filled.
