Supporting a major European small electronics company in conducting digital EUBR due diligence
A major European small electronics company engaged TDi Sustainability to strengthen and align its Due Diligence Management System (DDMS) with emerging regulatory requirements, including the EU Batteries Regulation (EUBR).
The objective was to ensure that the company’s responsible sourcing processes met current expectations and were positioned to evolve in line with future regulatory and industry standards.
TDi Sustainability’s work included:
- A detailed review of the existing Due Diligence Management S, assessing policies, procedures, and implementation practices across relevant supply chains.
- Gap analysis against EUBR requirements, identifying areas requiring enhancement and providing targeted, actionable recommendations.
- Development of an updated due diligence procedure and supporting tools to enable an EUBR‑compliant management system, including documentation, workflows, and decision‑support materials.
- Creation of a 2030 roadmap outlining key activities, milestones, and KPIs to support regulatory compliance (including EUBR and 3TG requirements) and broader responsible sourcing objectives.
- Preparation of mineral profiles for selected materials, summarising key ESG risks, supply chain challenges, and priority areas for due diligence focus.
Following this work, the company requested that TDi Sustainability conduct the EUBR due diligence process within the TDi Digital Platform, including the development of bespoke supplier self‑assessment questionnaires (SAQs) and tailored training modules to support supplier engagement and data quality.
