Sarah Wilkinson

Marketing Manager

As TDi’s Marketing Manager, Sarah looks for creative and engaging ways to tell the stories behind TDi Sustainability’s work, and supports clients in communicating and celebrating their sustainability success.


Having always loved everything to do with the natural environment, Sarah studied Natural Sciences at the University of Durham, where she carried out voluntary work with the RSPB,  local wildlife projects and botanical gardens, before embarking on a career that started in biodiversity conservation. She quickly realised that her true passion lay in communication, and in particular translating complex scientific topics into engaging information for a broader audience, which led to a natural change in career trajectory into marketing within the environmental sector.  She worked with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, the Forestry Commission, and Dyson, before spending nearly a decade managing marketing and events in the agricultural sector – latterly focused on soil science, regenerative agriculture, and integrated pest management.


Most recently Sarah worked in open access scientific publishing – managing the communications for high-profile virtual and in-person events. Sarah’s role at TDi allows her to combine her scientific knowledge and passion for the environment and sustainability with her creativity and experience in writing and communication.
