Jeannette is a Senior Sustainability Consultant at TDi Sustainability based in Berlin. Drawing on her background in international development and qualitative research in conflict-affected areas, Jeannette works on projects that range from responsible sourcing strategies to engagement with artisanal mining communities.
Jeannette previously served as Reporting Coordinator at the NGO Pact for the ITSCI supply chain due diligence and traceability programme in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and Uganda, where she coordinated field staff and a whistle-blower mechanism operated in partnership with Congolese civil society. Prior to that, Jeannette was an economic mapping Research Analyst for UNOPS in East Jerusalem, where she managed local stakeholder engagement, field research, and donor reporting.
Jeannette holds a BA from Columbia University and a PhD from McGill University. Her doctoral publications examined the impacts of donor agendas on local governance and socio-economic dynamics in the West Bank. Jeannette works fluently in French and Arabic and is proficient in Spanish and German.
