Zandi Moyo

Senior Analyst

Zandi is currently based in Ghana and has lived in Zimbabwe, Kenya and the UK. She has a background in environmental science and natural resource management.

With an MSc from Imperial College London, she specialised in topics surrounding sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation and tropical forest management.

Zandi has years of experience working in Ghana on climate-smart cocoa and sustainable forest management. This includes work with the Forestry Commission of Ghana’s Wildlife Division, Nature Conservation Research Centre, a local NGO, and the World Bank. While experienced in project coordination and environmental impact assessment and monitoring, Zandi also developed an interest in community engagement and human rights issues, working with cocoa Community Resource Management Areas (CREMAs) to improve local governance of natural resources and implement monitoring strategies that enable livelihood security. Across this work, Zandi contributed experience in designing and applying scientifically based research methods and analyses.

Zandi is working on due diligence and research projects in the mining minerals and bio-based materials sectors.
